Does anyone have the specifications for the accelerometer in the T-Mobile G-1 (Manufactured by HTC)?

I am developing a new application using the accelerometer sensors and I need to know the frequency response or bandwidth and the maximum sample rate. Any other information such as addition battery drain when reading these sensors at a high rate would also be most helpful.

Hi Jim,
G1 has an Asahi Kasei Microdevices AK8976A 3-Axis Electronic Compass 3-Axis Accelerometer (see the figure below).

Hope it helps.

Hi Br,

Thanks for the information. Now I can go the Asahi Kasei Microdevices website for all the engineering specifications on the compass.
